Dear Candidate to the WUT Doctoral School of the Warsaw University of Technology,
In the 2022/2023 academic year, for the first time, the admissions are conducted to one WUT Doctoral School. The five Doctoral Schools will no longer conduct education in their current form – they shall be replaced by one WUT Doctoral School which is now open for applications. Some key information on the recruitment process can be found below.
Admissions to the WUT Doctoral School are conducted via the electronic recruitment system (IRK).
The instructions on how to register in the IRK system can be found in the IRK guidelines.
You can edit your application until the last day of the registration.
The electronic recruitment system (IRK) is also used to inform individual candidates about their status in the recruitment process.
Note! One of the documents required at the first stage of the recruitment process is the description of the prospective research topic and the acceptance of the supervisor.
Therefore, it is obligatory for a candidate to find a potential supervisor beforehand – if you have not found one yet, you may use the database of supervisors. Contact the chosen supervisor, discuss the research topic and set the ground for future cooperation.
In the guide for candidates you can find detailed description of each step of the recruitment process as well as the answers to most frequently asked questions.
Stay updated and add the website of the WUT Doctoral School to your favorites. You will find there the admissions schedule, educational program as well as the information on scholarship, medical checkup, didactic offer and contact details to the PhD Students Office.
Select a discipline of the WUT Doctoral School and sing up.
